Murder Mystery at the Carob Tree foodcourt

Here at Studio 18, we like to do things a little differently. So this Halloween, we are bringing you a unique dining experience, in collaboration with Carob Tree and the Pod. Time for you to put on your detective hats and join us for an interactive experience: Murder Mystery at the Carob Tree food court.

All the characters have come together to celebrate the Opening Night of the Carob Tree. However, one of them does not make it out alive. It is up to the audience to help crack the case and assist the Detective in identifying the murderer. As audience members meet and interact with all the possible suspects, they may jot down any important clues they discover in their Detective Packs, which will be provided upon entrance.

However, this is anything but another performance. Instead of typical dinner and a show, each audience member will receive dinner within the show. A ticket gets you a set menu for a seven-course meal, consisting of taster dishes from each of the many food stalls at the Carob Tree.

The set menu consists of:

· Tuktuk South Indian Food – a Bhel Puri Chaat

· Genki Asian Café – a mini platter of pork and shrimp dumplings, chicken satay and Dim sum

· Marrobbio – a portion of pumpkin ravioli with speck

· Brass & Knuckle – an angus slider burger

· Pescado – a crispy fish cake

· MedAsia Sushi – a selection of sushi

· MedAsia Mixology bar – a cocktail

· INA’S – a serving of ice-cream

· Lot 61 – a cup of coffee and a cookie

· A bottle of water

· FREE PARKING

Being served is easy. Before the show begins, ticket holders will be given specific foo vouchers, which they will be able to exchange in whichever order they want. There will be several breaks throughout the evening for patrons to order their course. As for returning to your seats, you will be notified when the performance will be about to resume.

If you are vegan or vegetarian, then do not fret, because the Carob Tree has also thought about you too: some items from the set menu do cater for these dietary requirements. The Carob Tree will then reimburse you for the courses that you are unable to eat, providing you with a voucher to obtain additional food. For example, if you are vegan, then you will receive a 20 Euro voucher to use as you please. Any other allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements need to be communicated to the organisers at least 24 hours prior the event at eat@carobtree.com.mt.

Murder Mystery at the Carob Tree food court is taking place from the 29th to the 31st October at Carob Tree, Triq Mikiel Ang Borg, Saint Julian's, Malta. The dining experience is appropriate for children aged 12 and up. Doors open at 7:30pm, and the performance commences at 8:00pm. If you would like to book your ticket, then CLICK HERE.
